HISTORY
My name is Matthew Scott Oberg.
I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada.
My life journeys have taken me to live in other parts of the west coast but I always return to Reno as my roots run deep here with family and friends.
For as long as I can remember, creating art of many mediums has been a passion that is a constant.
Some of my earliest memories are of asking family members if I could draw their portrait and drawing and painting scenes from nature.
The things I love the most are family and nature.
Creating art is a therapeutic and "soul oxygenating" process for me and it seems to be what I am meant to do while on this planet.
THE INTENTION is to use this to connect with as many people as I can and to work one-on-one in sessions where we tap in to the deeper soul visions each of us have.
Within this process we will find the elements and images that inspire, remind and align the individual with their true self and I will create a custom art piece that contains those elements and visions that are unique to that individual.
The purpose of this piece will be to serve as a constant reminder of the individual's strength and true self.
This process is available for individuals as well as for a family or a business and can be in the form of a canvas, a drawing or a mural.
